North East Chancel

This window shows on the left, St Andrew with his Saltire Cross and on the right St James holding a Bible. It reads - To the Glory of God. In loving memory of James Dalton Gregson who departed this life on November 24th 1917. Erected by his wife and daughter. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of Lights” - James 1.17. Atkinson Bros of Newcastle who were established in 1876 made the window. Originally from Yorkshire and based in Newcastle upon Tyne, they produced a large number of windows for the north east and elsewhere. The business subsumed into Reed MIllican's .
